Gameboy Pocket Button PCB

Post by DerNuntius » Fri Jan 25, 2019 10:44 am

Hi,
I'm Hugo and today I'll show you my PCB that I created. It's a simple button PCB for the Gameboy Pocket with extra X&Y buttons with a drill template. The PCB is perfect for projects with a Raspberry Pi or an Arduino to create an Arduboy clone. Check out my Repository on Github and stay tuned for more updates. Maybe later i'll publish the eagle cad files. Also i work on an AIO board for the GBP.

Here're some pictures of the PCB:

Saw that in OpenGBZ github. Very nice, and thanks for sharing.
Although not my favourite handheld, but would be nice to see someone build one

forum member ABH has done a SP build ages ago....
he has a kit/guide available on his github for anyone that want to build one with downloadable board files
(he has also managed to fit a RPi3 A+ into one)

https://github.com/Gameboypi/SPW

the Game Boy Pocket has been done by a few members now (and ex-member), IMHO with OKish results
(I just dont like the look of the buttons)

and keep an eye out for forum member erik_gee who is working on a Game Boy Color AIO

Hey Hugo! I'm looking into shrinking your PCB to adapt it to my own Pocket Zero. Would it be possible for you to share the files yo used to created the Gerbers in your github? Thanks !
