If anyone is interested I bought mine here:
https://www.crystalfontz.com/product/cf ... lcd-module
They have about 10 in stock. It was $114 after tariff fee and U.S. Shipping.
Another option is this:
https://kingtechgroup.en.alibaba.com/pr ... h_lcd.html
$80 shipped according to my inquiry but I've never worked with Alibaba and felt more confident with the crystalfontz one.
Hopefully this helps others on the hunt.

You only have to make a software change as detailed here: https://github.com/kiteretro/Circuit-Sw ... 40x480-lcd
The LCD Adapter is required to connect it up which quite a few people ordered with the last batch.

Re: 640x480 screens for the new Circuit Sword
Can anyone show a comparison of these 2 screens?
The included 320x240 screen gets so many recommendations, but if this is just as good but with better resolution, then why not go for it?

Re: 640x480 screens for the new Circuit Sword
Other than the huge expense to actually get the screen! It is slightly wider and doesn't "fit" very well, and it's not quite as bright. But other than that has all the usual benefits of the higher res (readability, better scaling up).

Re: 640x480 screens for the new Circuit Sword
Personally I found the fit to be better than the smaller screen.
I found that shaping the shell to fit the screen ment that the fit could be fettled better then mounting it into a 3d printed part that allowed for movement.
I used aruldite and the screen fits perfectly square in the shell because one of the edge flats is the perfect distance and no mod is needed on that side of the shell. I personally prefer this screen to the smaller one see my vid on you tube

Looks like a factory fit if you ask me
