GBZ screen won't power from battery with powerboost

Don't know but I had a similar issue and either a) your lcd driver board is knackered, b) you've jumped the wrong pin on the ic on the lcd driver board, or c) you need to remove the ic and wire +5v directly to the ic pin on the lcd driver board.

Easy way to trouble shoot is wire the pi directly to the powerboost and output to a tv. If it works then the pi is ok. Then do the same to the powerboost with only the lcd driver board and check that it's getting 5v. Then connect the lcd and see if it lights up. Then if all that works, connect the lcd, driver board and pi.

I also wired mine up slightly differently. I powered the lcd from the GPIO pins on the pi.

In the OP's case, he wired the jumper to the wrong pin on the ic.
