Hey!
I purchased my board via Amazon
And it was furfuraldehyde by ATian Direct
Under the screen variants it doesn't match the board and I have no idea what to do
Help?
Please and thanks fellow GBZ

People you need to post pictures or how else can we help you if we have no idea what board or chips are on it.

Don't contact me about obtaining my board files (as you will not get them). If my Boards or PCB Kits are sold out, they will be restocked as soon as I can get them and there is demand for them. You can join the mailing list on my Website to be notified when they are available.

Re: Need help! My Screen board doesn't match
Heh, this is a twisted irony. I just started my own GB0 project and ran into this same situation. I was going to post a comment asking if there was already a tutorial or collection of information that would help with the screen. But since the post is here, yeah. Different board, need some help IDing what to modify and what to connect to the Pi Zero.
I should note that I have basically 0 knowledge when it comes to working with electronics. I know enough to wire an LED to a battery and more often then not, not have the LED burn up.
this is the control board. The wires are marked as follows:
white- AV1
yellow- AV2
black- ?
red- 12
I'm guessing the black would be ground. would that make the '12' an indicator for 12 volts? If so, what do I need to do to have the screen run on 5v?

its a good thing to have a good look around the forum and the sudomod siteTorroesPrime wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2019 5:26 pmI was going to post a comment asking if there was already a tutorial or collection of information that would help with the screen. as most things you may want to double check on or are unsure about will most probably have been answered.....
if you don't find anything then its worth making a post
making new posts about things that have already been answered or solved is one of the reasons that the forum seems vast as most of these issues have been posted about multiples of times
(yet people still seem to keep making new posts)
have a look here....

and maybe here....

viewtopic.php?f=44&t=8461&p=76539&hilit ... +13#p76539
good luck with the build...

Re: Need help! My Screen board doesn't match
I did spend about an hour going through posts, the problem was I didn't actually know what I was looking and just kind of hoping that "I would know it when I saw it". If ever there was a situation where someone was 'shooting blind at a target they didn't actually know was there' I think that was it.VeteranGamer wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2019 4:03 amits a good thing to have a good look around the forum and the sudomod siteTorroesPrime wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2019 5:26 pmI was going to post a comment asking if there was already a tutorial or collection of information that would help with the screen. Thanks. Chances are this will not be my last post asking for help.
