Powering Gearbest Screen?

I bought the Gearbest screen recommended in the
Wiki and
SidSilver's GBZ post post. I messed up the soldering, but I think I corrected it properly. (Luckily I bought two screens just in case!)
I'm not sure how to test the screen. SidSilver said they used "power from USB power supply and a camcorder as video input". I've figured out the video input (plugging the white and yellow into a camera), but not the USB power supply bit. How do I connect power?
Thanks!

WHATCHOUT!!! You solder to GND instead of Vcc (the second connection starting from the right in the white plug sould be the first from the right).

Great catch!! I'll fix that. Any idea how I power it once I move the wire?

What I've done is cut the red jack and solder an old usb cable to the cut cable. Easy as red goes to red and black to black

So I have a kind of cable extension I can plug to a phone usb charger.
Don't plug the white it's AV2. On a camcorder the red and white are for sound. Just plug the yellow.
Before you power your screen I suggest you to check your solders with a multimeter to detect any shortcut. The pins are really close and it's easy to connect them with solder unfortunately

@Sidsilver and @nsqpdn, thank you!
@sidsilver - is there a built-in color/contrast adjust? Doesn't seem like it to me.

No buttons to setup the screen.
For me the screen is perfect as it is, no need to change the setup.

I have the same screen and am at a loss about how to connect it to the raspberry pi zero. I took a couple pictures, here:

Any help is appreciated.

Vcc to PP1 or your powerstrip
GND to pp6 or ground on your powerstrip
VS1 to TV (the square hole)
What I did was solder 2 wires to GND on the controller board, one to Ground on my powerstrip and one to the round hole next to TV square.
I'm wondering if there would be a difference in the power consumption between the screen with the conversion and one without. Does anyone know?
