Cannot hey solder on button controller

Post by DOCTOR06 » Sat Jul 16, 2016 12:14 pm

I have been trying for a whIle now to solder the wires after scratching the button controller and trying to make the bridges for the ground, but the solder is not sticking. Is there any tips you guys could give me on how to get it to stick? Am I doing something wrong?

Get a Flux Pen and make sure you aren't using 60/40 solder as that sucks and doesn't flow and stick good, get 63/37 as it's easier to use and sticks easier to traces.

Don't contact me about obtaining my board files (as you will not get them). If my Boards or PCB Kits are sold out, they will be restocked as soon as I can get them and there is demand for them. You can join the mailing list on my Website to be notified when they are available.

In addition to above, make sure u clean your iron's tip often ( on a wet sponge or steel wool) and heat the board and wire, not the lead: the lead ideally should be heated through the board and wire
