thanks man, yeah i really enjoyed building it. i think I'm going to leave this one pretty much how it is, and use it as my experimental unit, as i plan to add some sound etc.
but ill end up buying a full new set of components in the new year and build a real nice tidy show off unit with the battery mentioned above etc.
