Thanks I appreciate it. I'm using one of the BW car back up camera LCD screens from Amazon.

Just got my Kitsch-Bent sd card cartridge. I cut open the hole to access the card and then beveled the edges to make it easier to get a hold of it then I painted it silver.

Had some free time at work today so I was able to get some stuff done. I shortened my wires from the teensy to the controller board. I didn't like the soldering I did on it before so it was nice to clean it up. I wired and tested the power booster. Lights came on fine and battery was charging. I was also able to get the speaker, headphone jack and amplifier wired and glued in place.

Need to do some wire management and it's all done! I'm a little surprised if how little issues I had with making this project. I didn't test any of the components after they were modified. I just installed them all and eveything worked perfectly. I am having an issue of the case being to tight when closed and putting to much pressure on the teensy causing it to press down the program button that's on it making the controller buttons not to work.

Looking really nice @Kalen! Nearly slapped myself when I saw your modified port cover for the USB, as I absent-mindedly threw mine away when I was modding the shell

Glad you had such little trouble so far - is that everything finished now?

Thanks @ChunkeeMunkee. I did the same thing with the original volume wheel. Doh!!... I had hoped that I would be able to make the cover fit so I was pretty happy when it took very little modification to make it work.

Yeah it's fully up and running but I'm having some issues with getting the case closed nicely. I ended up pulling one of the screw posts off the bracket I made for the top 2 screws. Luckily I just got a 3D printer and saw that @Wermy designed a bracket so I was able to print it today. I need to do some deconstruction to get it in place and I'm going to change some wires to a smaller gauge to try and find some more room to close it up. Unfortunately it'll all have to wait until I'm back from my vacation in 2 weeks (really wanted to take it with me :-( )

Found some cool 3d prints in the 3d printing forums here. A screen surrounding/button wells and a pi0/top screw post bracket (can't remember the users name right now sorry) they fit great. I had to modify the button well position since I drilled my holes months ago.

So I ended up taking it entirely appart. Going to change about 60% of the wiring and adding usb audio so it's just easier to gut it.

what is connected to the colume control knob? on yellow board with resistor etc. can you little bit explain in detail?
is there any possibility to share your 3d printed part files?

Zarrath that's the audio filter Wermy showed how to make in the build guide. Here's the link for the 3D print files. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1724129
Again I didn't design them I was just lucky enough to stumble upon them the other day.
