Hi Bert, where did you order the buttons? I have buttons from a knockoff SNES controller but like the original ones better.
I ordered them from Dominator here on the forums (together with some other stuff :P )

You can also find other colours on ebay:
http://www.ebay.nl/sch/i.html?_from=R40 ... s&_sacat=0

Also the original ones:
http://www.ebay.nl/itm/NEW-A-B-Buttons- ... SwB9xXO1NL

just need the gummy conductors with those from the last link.

If you're still looking for a screen, amazon uk ships to the netherlands, and since the brexit the pound is low, so the screens are cheaper :D

I ordered this screen twice (i broke the first one  ):
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00 ... UTF8&psc=1

I got the same box, with (on the outside) the same item. On the inside, they were different: i got "version 2" and "version 7" from the wiki. Both are fine for what we need, and i can confirm it works perfectly in my finished GBZ.

Any close by electronic shop has basics like capacitors, just make sure to ask for the Dutch name (condensator).

I hope you get one of the tft versions I got, as both are easy to mod for 5v.

I skipped the cartridge mod entirely, was already more than difficult enough to do the rest xD i'm just using the SD card slot in the pi, and using ftp over wifi to put the games on.

Ok, so i am waiting for all the parts to come in...

In the meanwhile, i have been printing some 3d prints :D

i printed the screen bracket:

and the button wells :D

they are printed in white PLA. I don't have any other material... but i think it will work :D
Printed each item double the amount i need... just in case ;) lol

its not much... but as long as i don't have any more parts...

and this is the board it came with :D nice and small!!!!

i have not been able to test it out... as soon as i do, i'll report it here ;)

now waiting for more... some small stuff has to come from the UK (all above parts also came from the UK), but some other parts have to come from China.... so that will take some more time.

in little under 2 weeks i am going on a holiday for 2 weeks, so after that, i hope i can start building :D

@BadBert
I think you hit the jackpot there! that's the same board I got that runs off 5v without modification. Plus the board is very small. ;)

Which buyer did you get the screen from? I know it is a crapshoot, but I'm about to purchase my second screen and want to hopefully get an easy one.
