Hi agarajag,

as tofu said, I did it nearly the same way, with a really sharp knife.
Just put the original screen on top and go over the edges again and again until you cut it through.
I used a nail file to smooth the edges, since my dremel would be too rough.

This is only a test, since I want to get laser cut screens, but it came out quite nice for a DIY.

Looking good! I like how you put in some strain relief by threading the wires through the PCB. :)

@Fleder
I can see we have a different PCB and this one you have seems easier to cut as it has ample clearance between the circuits. Were you able to still make the controller work via USB?
