But good to know, then I'm done with the electronics. The case is being resin printed as we speak and I got all the parts to finish it so I hope it'll be ready soon! :D
Cool! I'm looking forward to it. It looks really good so far :)

Any chance you could make a parts list? I've never forayed into the world of RPi, but after seeing this I've decided to give it a go. Maybe a touch ambitious for my first project, but I like stumbling along the way with things like this.

There is and always was a parts list included on the very first site with links to everything...

I did as you said and it registers the x axis as well as the y axis in the serial monitor. I filled in the numbers i got from there and the stuttering is much less now. But when I test it in windows the cross in the test still won't go to the upper left and lower right corner.. I switched the the wires of the analog stick with A1 and A0 but that didn't help. I know I wired it right because when I control my mouse in windows with it, it works fine. So maybe it's a windows thing, I will try and test it when my housing is finished.

I'm building this if you're interested:

Jusr another "extra" I have added to this gameboy:

This hole was left empty all time along, it was originaly intended for the contrast wheel. Yesterday I suddenly got an idea what to put in there.
A connector for composite and sound output, which also shuts off the internal speaker as soon as the cable is connected to it:

It's a pretty fun experience to play on a much bigger screen and it looks really amazing, despite it being "only" composite. It really suprised me :)

Pi3 is more powerful, plus it has built in wifi and bluetooth which is nice.

- No need for an USB hub, you have plenty of USB ports

- WiFi & Bluetooth

- Much speedier

- Higher compute power for demanding emulators

- A "real" audio output instead of PWM
