First build is finally done, So here are the pictures of everything i have done.

Quick look at the inside:

[spoiler="Inside"]Main shot of the inside:

Left half holding the Pi Zero and Camble's safe shutdown PCB with reset switch

Right half holding Helder's AIO board, the screen, wifi card, volume pot and speaker.

I wanted to put some better wires for the USB devices so i cut up an old iphone cable, as the outer casing was a bit thick i stripped it keeping the insulation part intact and twisted the wire I then used some thinner heat shrink to cover it back up:

Next I wanted to keep the battery bay as is so here is what I did to utilise the space I had:

I put a piece of 5mm fibre optic cable running from the charge LED's out through the bottom of the case:

Then finished it off by cutting up an old DVD case to create a cover:

Special thanks to @wermy for his great original guide, @Helder for his fantastic work on the AIO PCB, @solder for the 3D printed parts he provided for my build, @Camble for his work on the shutdown PCB, @dominator for the square screen protector and @CaptainDurden for designing me a great black and yellow cartridge label ;) .

If I have forgotten to thank anyone then I apologise as my memory isn't that great, I welcome any comments that may make my V2 build better :D

Cheers
John

Well it turns out the screen is in fact broken, the issue is the backlight the screen works for a little while then the backlight goes out you can still faintly see the screen but sadly it needs replacing :(

Nice!

The display working and then dimming is strange tho.
Maybe it's just a power/heat issue?

Removed the defective screen and fitted the new screen mount sent by solder (thanks again) yesterday, just waiting for the new screen to show up.

Interesting, what method is that bracket printed with? Looks very high quality.
