Kalei808's first GBZ build
Kalei808's first GBZ build
I'd like to thank sudomod for the wealth of information and helpful people on this site and i want to share my first gbz build. Ive installed rear buttons, an emergency battery cutoff switch as well as the lcd adjustments inside of the battery compartment. The 2500mah battery is neatly tucked away inside of a hollowed out game cartridge sporting a sudomod sticker. Im just waiting on my last component which is a safe shut down and this build will.be complete. Let me know what you guys think!

Nice build. Really like your implementation of the shoulder buttons and the display glass.
Unfortunately these shoulder buttons are tricky with the Dextech battery :/ May I design a new backplate with these buttons inside:

Thank you for the Idea

Thanks! Great minds think alike haha... As of now im just plugging into the micro usb on the power boost to charge. Ironically im also waiting for my safe shut down from camble. I want to install the safe shut down before i install a micro usb breakout board to chargeVeteranGamer wrote:Nice work....

Thank you! If you make a slim style backplate with shoulder buttons, i will be first inline to buy one as my original plan was to run dual batteries for more capacity, one in the game cartridge and one in the battery compartment but my shoulder buttons didnt allow for battery placement inside the battery compartment.Funkenschuhster wrote:Nice build. Thanks! i just used the bw screens plastic screen protector and trimmed it down to size. Ive been on the lookout for a glass option thats squared off on the bottom right corner but so far no luck. If you happen to find someone selling them, please let me know!
