Sorry, only just saw this. None of the screens I got came with any control buttons. I did make a 3-button control pad to test it myself but found it unnecessary to include.

I used a 2000Mah 903759 - basically identical to this - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-7v-2000mAh ... Sw-0xYZG5G
Except when I got them I managed to find 5 for like £20 which seems a really good price looking now...
Unfortunately I don't have any more snaps of that one as I gave it away, but the second one I did used exactly the same and it looks like this. As you can probably see I had to very slightly trim the side walls of the battery housing - but other than that it is pretty much untouched. The springs actually hold the cells in place really well and the door closes perfectly.
Which reminds me I should make a build thread of it too...this is what she looks like
