Re: Camble's GBZ
@alien0matic, I am using this switch. It doesn't have to be DPDT, DPST will do.
I'm currently using Popcorn's code, but plan to write something custom. I haven't decided on what I want to happen on low battery yet.

Re: Camble's GBZ
Using a DPST the switch between GND and GPIO will be removed?
I was planning to add the Pololu for graceful shutdown in the next few days, but if your solution switches off the PowerBoost it will be the perfect solution. If I could use the currently mounted GB switch it would be even better!

Re: Camble's GBZ
You won't be able to use the original GameBoy switch. It is SPDT. You need a double pole with two separate pairs of pins. Double throw is not required, the switch just needs to be able to open two poles at the same time. However, to be sure the switch works the correct way round in the GameBoy, it's probably best to use a DPDT. That way you can connect whichever pairs of pins work for the orientation of the switch. Hate to get a DPST switch only to have it operate in reverse.
Turns out you can use the DMG-01 switch. The circuit just needs a slight modification. See here for more details.

Re: Camble's GBZ
Thanks for the clearing things up.
One last question: The linked switch travels the right amount to have it "lock and release " the cartridge?
Seems like I wont get this done before the holiday.
