Question:
Can you tap into the HDMI wires and "pluck out" the audio to direct them into an amp/speaker for sound, or is audio coming from the screen // coming from PWM pins?
I'm not that familiar with HDMI stuff yet.
Sound is coming from the hdmi board.

Aaaand bookmarked. Thanks!
Current build is very rough and uses a lot of glue (sadly) so it has a composite screen. I plan to make much more elaborate ones next with HDMI, bigger battery, better L/R triggers, and stereo sound.
My first one is more proof of concept to myself and hand-on-experience with the size than anything else. My perception of how much space you got in there is horribly warped, im just waiting on farrite beads atm so i can build my pwm sound circuit. Did a test fit...wow i have tons of space left...lesson learned lol

So I got the screen you're using and I started shaving down the edges to get it to fit but I noticed it will be a bit off center because of the large black rectangular piece (on the right) I was wondering how you got yours centered?

Just set the overscan setting in your config file.

@tinkerBOY how do you go about taking the touchscreen off on the kedei board? I've been reading through the posts but no luck on clear instructions. Thanks

The touchscreen is glued on the edges of the lcd and should be easy to pry off.
