lololo's #1 GBZ PI3 / UPDATE -> power issue OK

Post by Lololo » Tue Oct 24, 2017 8:30 am

Hello,

Ffirst, thank you all for the incredible help that there is here....and in particular to HELDER, 144TECH, KUBINO, CAMBLE, VETERANGAMER, and all the others that I forget for the moment.

I do not have much time to summarize now but I already put some pictures because I arrive at the end.

I will complete the topic at the end of GBZ.

Thanks again to all.

#UPDATE 1

Like everyone else, I have power problems when I add the screen to the circuit.

I found on the internet, a tiny supercaps (I took one of 470mF and 1F):

Can you explain more about these caps? I'm using a pi3, and I THINK I am having power problems but I am unsure...

Hello,

sorry, I do not know much about it but here is a link:

http://www.instructables.com/id/Lets-le ... actical-G/

I added that because I had freezes in Emulstation and since everything works perfectly.

there is still a slight problem is that the consumption has gone from ~ 1A to ~ 1.8A :-(

it leaves me an hour of games with a battery of 3700mAh

Oh no.... I wonder why that is? I'm having similar issues and your post about these capacitors gave me some hope that this could be a possible solution...

Mine freezes when I attempt to open the retroarch menus when a game is being ran in my first build. I occasionally get the lightening bolt in the corner.

In my second build, I'm using an HDMI screen and the screen starts powering on and off when I turn the volume up...
