Man, I love how this build came out! So clean and tidy. Love the colour scheme too! ALL BLACK ALL THE TIME!!!
Quick question though, I see that the start and select buttons are grey, could you not get black ones or is that intentional for your look?
thanks for sharing, it's an awesome build. Well done.

I tried it but didn't work. I left buttons soaked for 2 days but nothing changed. :(

Anyway, my Game Boy Controller v2.0 is currently on sale. It has builtin low/high pass filter and audio amp.

So for the brightness on this monitor do you just keep it at a certain voltage with the boost converter? And do you find yourself having to adjust it ever or is there a voltage you keep it on and it runs bright enough? I am wiring up for my build but just noticed that I need the boost converter and didn't want to try powering it on without one. Also if I didn't have a couple Helder boards already I would totally be buying a couple of yours, they look great :)

I just set the boost converter to 19V which is pretty bright enough.

Wouldn't it be possible to just add a transistor after the boost converter to control the voltage flowing to the backlight? Something like a PN2222. This could be controlled via PWM

This screen looks identical to the Gearbest screen (just without the blue pcb board)
Do you think they are the same?
