That's a bummer your stopping your build, man :cry: I got high spectations reading this thread.
I'm planing a very similar build (pi3 with arduino controller, but 1 analog stick), and would be helpful if you could explain more what choices you wouldn't make again and why.

Yeah, sure. A few big things were: My case was a little smaller and weirder and... square(r) than the normal case, my arduino broke after being wired to everything and everything wired to it, My pi 3 USBs never worked, and neither did the audio USB or PWM. I don't regret this build, because it taught me a lot and didn't fail*, I can always come back, but it definitely wasn't a success. Hope your build turns out well, feel free to PM me if you need help with anything.


*Build did give me joystick PTSD :lol:

How are you planning to position the pi3? Will it be in the rear or front case?
