What's your favourite position for the rear buttons, it looks like you've tried everything!
I really love how the printed recessed rear battery door looks, but I don't think it leaves much room inside for a nice beefy battery...
Thanks for sharing.

Yeah. That one is the most comfortable. But it sucks it takes up so much room. Second to that I'll probably say the 6 and 7th builds have a good feel. Using erik_gees button bracket.

8? geez man lol.
i plan to make 4 of them in the end but i doubt i'll do more than that even if i do enjoy doing it (one for me, one for my 2 brothers, one for a very dear friend of mine).
If i do a 5th it'll be because my roommate's mom bugged me enough for one lol. She saw the one i got built and went total nerdmode on us (was hilarious)
Also, #2....lit buttonwells...thats awesome lol. I'd totally do that if i can find some slightly opaque wells so its not a shining force like those are (but more of a glow)

Haha, you're right about the buttons they were pretty bright, more of a novelty, I added a switch to turn them on/off as well. One of these days i'll build one to keep....But for now, I just build, sell, build, sell...It's funding my hobby at least!
Now I have a 3D printer to build so we'll see how many more GBZ's I can get done while trying to build that!

Ironic, this is one of the things that convinced me to finally buy a 3D printer. Wanted one for a long time, couldnt find a good one.
Course the first one i bought was a POS (M3D Micro+ 3D printer) and complete waste of money....i bought a DIY Tevo Turrantula im waiting on shipping now. Its got a ton of really good reviews for a sub300USD printer only needing minor modifications. Course i dont actually HAVE it yet so i cant vouch for said reviews yet lol. Majority of the "modifications" are literally "Print this bracket and attach it"
Main thing keeping me from stretching my electronic knowledge outside of work is lack of proper casings. 3D printer fixes that for sure
I might sell my first one once i refit it a bit to atleast get my money back and make a much improved one for myself. Might. I have pretty low standards personally for things i keep (though oddly high standards for things i sell) so dunno if i can refit this one to be good enough lol. Its...a mess right now...
Out of curiosity, how much did these run you? I factored mine to cost me about 150USD in parts (though lot of adafruit stuff in there)
