Such a great job again, Veteran.

You do an amazing job of detailing your builds to the highest level and they really are an inspiration to other users.

It's great to see a build utilising a simple button PCB as often new users think that AIO boards are the only way to go.

Really nice to also see common parts such as generic PSU and USB audio being used along with fresh new ideas such as the cart shell, screen bracket etc.

This build should serve as an inspiration to new users that really high quality builds are possible with time, patience and resourcefulness :P

I'm a massive fan of the SNES (UK Talk) and I think you've just inspired me to build an inferior white GBZ with a similar theme next :D

Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing with everyone.

this means a lot coming from you, Thank you....

we'd all love to use an AIO, but i'm a community guy
and if the community doesn't have one to offer at the moment, then resort to plan B (at least its still got Helder stamp on it)

this build is simple and also built really on a bit of budget (not consciously)

the most expensive part to this build, is actually Cambles Safe Shutdown (which is a steal anyway)

even though its in a showoff section, i always try/hope/endeavor to give back to the community (that i've leeched so much off)
i'm not trying to showoff with my builds...
but show that if i can make a build, anyone can (I'm a complete noob, that loves retrogaming)
i have no electronics experience,
and as you can see from the previous posts my 3d design skills lack something to be desired

Hi Veteran,
This is a big inspiration for me. I'm finally biting the bullet and taking a stab at making a Gameboy Zero. Some of the parts you use were on my radar, and this'll push me ahead even faster!

Thanks so much for this! And congratulations on being on the sudomod front page!

Great build and thank you for the inspiration with the ADS1115 + HoolyHoo battery monitor, I've just ordered one. Are you going to be adding the steps of this to this guide ?
