First of all thank you for your Help! it means very much to me!
Second I would like what HDMI screen you used and if I can slide it in my casing without (a lot) of modifaction?
my kedei screen did not fit (that's why the dremel exident happend). so did yours fit?

and when I was checking your build, wich was very nice btw, I was wondering if you had already found a suitable hdmi cable or easy modifiable one?

sorry for my poor english, i'm actually dutch hihi.

PS orderd the screen you linked.
Your English is fine don't worry about it. The keidei HMDI screen i used were of the old versions. I don't think it's still available. I checked my purchase history on aliexpress and it's not for sale anymore. Maybe someone here knows where to get one.

Later keide screens are a little wider.
Yep noticed. :D
if you find one please let me know.
maybe one that is more 4:3 ratio-is , because the one I had was more like 16:9 :?

oh and I found these https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/FPV-Micr ... autifyAB=5, maybe they work? I don't think so sinds the forum showed something like these

It has been quite a while ago sinds I posted an update on my project, but here it is.
So I broke my modified screen, but thanks to Rodocop I was able to find a new screen that didn't need any moddifcations at all!
Here is a picture of my current set up:

Since my usb hub is already working, I just have to wait for the custom shotdown switch/pbc to come in. :D

Does someone have a wiring diagram for that? I use the Powerboost 1000c

Watched Wermies video about his first GBZ using broken DMG thought."Wow that's cool I will mess it up though". Saw his second video about using only new parts when the 3-D parts started being made and then thought "I may be able to do this. MI'm still worried about the screen though I'm probably going to need at least 2 of them. " Came on SudoMod to look for the 3-D parts found Kites AIO saw it came with a screen that didn't need modding, waited for the next Pre-Order and ordered. I then thought I will get the case done before AIO comes so I bought one on eBay and absolutely butchered it. I was going to order another but then found kubino on here and ordered my case from him. lesson of my story I paid abit more because of the many, many screens and cases I would have ended up screwing up. :D
Also check out Vetran Gamers HDMI build it's amazing and may give you pointers.
Another good build for you would be jelly-bellys, he did a clear build and even did some casting of brackets ect in clear resin.

Edited to add more of them dot/full stop things I've read so much about. Still think I'm missing a few, but unless I started to put them in I randomly would always miss a few.......

So after a couple of hours with hot glue (burnt my fingers too many times), I finallly managed to complete the front-half of my gameboy zero and I think that it looks, not perfect, but pretty good :)

A more clear vision on my audio set up, without the potentiowheel (headphone jack is wired as Rodocops diagram, special thanks to him!)

I still have to figure out where I should place everything, Like the control board for the lcd and the teensy (2.0 in my case), but that's a concern for tommorow.

You wanted a wiring diagram for a safeshutdown, did you order cambles? If so, he does have a diagram in his thread.

https://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2260

As for the screen board, your best bet is to place in somewhere near the middle of the screen, but below the screw bracket, assuming you are going to use one? The ribbon is somewhat flexible and can be folded on itself.

So I have been working on my project ones again.
Ran into a few problems:
  • Glue stopped sticking, jep weird...
  • Audio that I mounted recently stopt working. I follow Rodocops wiring diagram.
  • Totally killed my usb hub by mixing up the + and - polarity
  • The buttons work! But when I go into the configrations of anything (with the blue and grey menu screens) The buttons suddenly become useless. I can't control anything from there.
I fixed the glue problem by using my old (disugsting looking) yellow glue.
The audio still isn't fixed sadly. maybe someone else sees the problem?
and I orderd a new usb hub. very cheap from aliexpress.

So my question: Can someone help me fix the audio and the buttons that suddenly stop(ped) functioning?

Here are some pictures of the current procces:

Stripped usb mini B cable for the teensy (the breakout points didn't seem to work)
