All i would suggest is to simply rotate the back button PCB, allowing the buttons to sit differently, square shape versus diamond, you can still use the pads and it would seem more normal, at least to me. The current set up isn't bad, if it was me though I would find the top and bottom buttons awkward to press, while the left and right would be more natural. If that makes sense.

Also, it's easy enough to use other silicone pads, or even the silicone tactile buttons, so you can really place them anywhere.

The design has been updated afterall! The buttons look indeed better now! It was kind of out of place I must admit!
