Does anyone knows the font used on the dmg shells? I would like to add the X and Y button labels.

this should help.....

https://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... 100#p45440

but good luck with trying to put an X & Y on the case......

i've tried several times, not that its not doable it is, but i never achieved it (well not perfectly).....
it is really (i mean really) finicky to put such small letters via water slides on something and most importantly get it to sit in the exact place you want.....
on every build i've used waterside decals on (which is around 5), i've tried...
and for me personally i could never get both letters to be millimeter perfect to where i wanted them
(inline with each other and the right distance)

an easier way to maybe apply them is not to trim all the excess (unused) decal paper, but this wont give a printed finish, but will make handling them alot easier....

good luck, hopefully you might be able to pull it off.....

I like the theme so far! Just curious why you used H instead of X button?

Yeah that’s a bummer. This is an X but the font makes it look like an H.

EDIT:

I scraped it. took the decals off. X and Y is a no go.

the circuit sword logo needs a little adjustments. maybe black letters. and definitely a little sanding on the case to make the decal adhere more.

I bought the classic grey shell but found it kind of tannish grey rather that Snes grey. How does the case you ordered look in person compared to the original classic grey?

small update. i've finished with the water slide decals.
first i've put some kapton tape on the case to define the area that needed to be smoothed out. the i used the wooled bit of the dremel to gently abuse the surface.

after that it was easy to apply the decal.

next step Yaya's stickers that should be here this week. Then i'm thinking about gluing some nuts on the 2 pillars that hold the 2 screws underneath the battery. this would allow me to mimic some inserts, as with hoolyhoo's screen brackets. not too sure about this...

EDIT: I decided to order the same brass inserts has the ones hoolyhoo is sending with his brackets. bought a pack of 100 on aliexpress. should be here before Kite's CSO.

Yaya's stickers came in today as well as hoolyhoo's 3D cart/fan vent.
I think i'll try the original cart first and switch to the printed version if needed.

There won't be much more updates in the next 5-6 weeks as now the only parts missing are Kite's. Yaya's screen as well. i'll post that :D
