This is my first attempt at making something as sophisticated as a Gameboy Zero! I am having to do this in stages, a little at a time. I'll try to document my progress as I receive more and more components. Hope you all enjoy!

First Post: I ordered the casing parts from Retromodding.com. The buttons are all SNES style rather than the normal Gameboy buttons for style and comfort. I based the color scheme on a Pokeball

Oh, the fuzzy creature in my photos is my cat...she made it very difficult to take pictures because she kept trying to run away with my buttons

Included parts are:
-Clear red gameboy shell
-1 set clear SNES buttons
-1 set Black Clear SNES buttons
-2 sets black silicone pads with start/select buttons
-1 Glass GBZ screen

Good luck with your build! You might want to consider a digital multimeter if you don't already have one. Great tool for checking voltage, connections and stuff.
