didnt try... i just resolderd it to be sure and you were right ! thank you i do have 2 other questions...

- how long can the splash screen be cause it hangs also i have no sound wile it loads.
Found the awnser to this question already . but also here i get no sound...

- i tried to add my own custom theme but when i ssh in to the pi with the Pi/raspbarry account i dont have right the add the theme to themes folder. i found a work around for this via filemanager.
gave me another question though.... my theme loads but the sound from the theme dont work is there a setting for that?

oke all sound work now but not with my splashscreen...

Okay fixed the sound of the splash screen via the following edit:

Open

opt/retropie/supplementary/splashscreen/asplashscreen.sh

Then on line 35 change

omxplayer -o both
To
omxplayer -o alsa

After that also sound via headphones worked

Finally had the time to print the shell and clear coat it. Will glue the screen and reassemble the shell tonight and upload a picture and a video of the splash screen
