Sup homies

Working on a non kit GBZ and decided to go with a USB C port. Modified the 3D power switch file someone uploaded and added some support for the USB C breakout board. It is my first 3D modding so its not perfect but seems to work. The cut out is ugly but this is just my test case.

I have those same boards that I bought like a month ago, I just have yet to do anything with them. I'll be sure to check up on this and see how it goes. It seems pretty straight forward as long as you're only wiring positive and negative.

Do you want to power your GBZ over USB-C or/and transfer some data?

I will only be using the USB C as a charging port, no data.

Wouldn’t you just need to wire VCC and GND just as we did with the micro usb? I’m interested in type C.

Yup. Seems be the better option since it clears the screw post. Once you shave off the side parts that is.

I'm looking into using type c as well since I moved fully away from type b. I just worry that my phone charger supports 9v and I dont know how power delivery is negotiated. I dont want it to supply a weird voltage.
