Hey Bert!
I just noticed I have the same USB hub as you shown early in the thread (the one with one port in front and three pointing up). I see that you used it but later on changed it to another one. Did it break or why did you switch?
I've already de-soldered a lot from it but it looks quite big so if it's a sketchy model which tend to break sooner or later maybe I should get another brand and also a smaller one?

First of all, sorry to the guys who are waiting on my wiring diagram.... i had som sudden things happen, so i did not had time AT ALL to do something....
i will make the scheme as soon as possible for the audio!!!!

@peoplesbeer i did not change the usb hub, i used the one i ordered :)

@jellybelly good luck with the build! I am now in the process of gathering all the parts i need again, to build one for my little brother exactly as the one i already made. Only adding safe shutdown pcb (ill also add that to my own gbz)

Ooooh, I went through the thread once again and you're right of course. Jumping between so many threads at this forum I was 100% sure you had the same one I got.
Nevermind then, haha! :)

Hey, it's me again. :D
Have you installed the new battery indicator? The 1s-model.
I ordered one as well and got it today, don't have time to test it yet (also think I need to buy another RPIz...) so I'm trying to get as much info about it as possible. :)

No i have not installed that yet. I am waiting on my safe shutdown for my banggood power supply from @Camble
i dont want to open up my gbz twice... so i'll do all the "mods" at once.

ok..... i've had it with this thing....

working hours on getting the safeshutdown to work... it does not want to work.
had to kill the gbz by taking the lipo out several times, so now my sdcard is corrupt, it would not boot anymore....

formatted the SD, reflashed with newest retropie, start up... ok....
put in the controls (gbz says it found 2 gamepads... sure...).
i put in all controls, start a game, and the controls are messed up?!?! a is not a but pause... wtf?! (never had that before)
every time i want to shut down the GBZ, i see the command line with "login to pi: " and then a lot of characters... and it won't shut down.
same when i want to open the wifi settings.... pfffff

i am going to flash an older version of retropie... hoping that will help....
