@Ganreizu Interesting. How do you mount that in the case? Just glue it down with epoxy?

I was just gonna hit the bottom of it with hot glue. Kilren should weigh in on this when he has a chance.

Sorry, life has been incredibly crazy. Yeah, I just used epoxy. The DMG shell has a lip that it sat on fairly nice, I just used a good amount of epoxy and patience to make sure it never moved again.

The biggest challenge is that you have to be on your "A game" to solder on this. It is indeed incredibly small, and getting solder everywhere is easy to do. Patience and a lot of flux is key, also skip pins to give yourself a little bit of forgiveness and workspace. Check for continuity between pins if you have problems.

Do you have a link to that case? Love your build. How is the finger going?

Thanks for the kind words! I just searched "DMG cases" on amazon. I bought from NBGames but it looks like they're currently unavailable. Both amazon and eBay usually have cases from other sellers though.

The finger is great now. It was actually sort of a hidden blessing because I couldn't work in the OR for a couple of days at the hospital, which actually gave me a chance to work a zika virus case with a team. It was fascinating.

I've been off the forum for a couple of weeks in preparation for a new semester and new clinicals, but I'll be back in full strength in about a week. In the mean time, I'll try to answer questions on this forum.

Looks like the one from kitsch-bent. I've ordered a few from him, great cover, peel and stick. Totally worth it. There is a link to his store in the sudo-market place, I cant get on there from work though, so I cant give the exact link.
