It would give me a worth while reason to get a hit air rework station.
My one regret when I ordered the boards was not getting a stencil. At the time though, I didn't have a hot air station, only a cruddy soldering iron. Since then I bought a 898D station that Wermy recommended in his video and man I love that thing.
I assembled my boards all by hand.

I've got one of those stations added to an Amazon Wishlist and it will be the one I go with.

Question for you. The L/R buttons on your build, did you wire them directly to the GPIO pins? I've only seen the R1 Gaboze Pocaio boards but I dont recall a spot on them to hook up L/R buttons.

Yes I did. I wired them to the GPIOs that were already mapped for the L&R on the front.
