Credit where credit is due: your creations look nice. You do quality work, when you finish it.

And I understand it's going to be hard to deliver on those arcades unless you can get another revenue stream. But offering preorders for products you don't have a chance of delivering? How dare you. You give the community a bad name. This is ethically bankrupt behavior sir.

Looks to be 4 microswitches from a mouse placed flat on the board, similar to how you would normally make a control pad with tact-buttons, but with an indent in the centre so you can't press them all down at once.

The closest you can get without making it yourself would be to use a 5-way navigation switch, they're pretty expensive on ebay though, as only a handful of companies seem to make them.

Adafruit has such a joystick and isn't too expensive but I'm sure their shipping is expensive. These are basically a Dpad in a joystick which is great for old school games and fighters but not exactly a true analog stick.
