Let's fix some stuff
1. Meet your obligations on Kawaii cade
2. Powerboost boost much?
3. Be transparent stop deleting valid social media comments
4. Go fund yourself, jobs are nice
5. Versus fighting pad controller rly?
6. Budget
7. Credit others
8. Ego
Maybe promoting a reddit thread in your honor should be done soon?

You have got to be kidding me.
Robert Dunn you have GOT to be kidding me RN.
You're the guy who ran away with over twenty thousand US dollars for arcade systems you never built:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/28 ... e-cabinets
You now claim that you live on "only" $200-300 a month and can't afford materials to build even a third arcade cabinet of the many you sold for $1500 each, but your instagram is showing you buy cool new toys every other day:
https://www.instagram.com/robertdunnart/
You now have the cajones to be offering for presale a kit to build these portables
https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/5415343 ... e_active_1
...which includes "custom PCBs" that you are desperately harassing people on this board to help you design as well as glass screens that you have not even sourced.
How do you sleep at night, Robert Dunn?
Credit where credit is due: your creations look nice. You do quality work, when you finish it.
And I understand it's going to be hard to deliver on those arcades unless you can get another revenue stream. But offering preorders for products you don't have a chance of delivering? How dare you. You give the community a bad name. This is ethically bankrupt behavior sir.
Robert Dunn, we know who... and WHAT... you are. Take a moment and re-evaluate your life. Own up to your failings and take some accountability. Seriously, this is super gross.

Looks to be 4 microswitches from a mouse placed flat on the board, similar to how you would normally make a control pad with tact-buttons, but with an indent in the centre so you can't press them all down at once.moooarcuuuus wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2017 11:10 pmThe joystick looks nice on the instagramm pictures. The closest you can get without making it yourself would be to use a 5-way navigation switch, they're pretty expensive on ebay though, as only a handful of companies seem to make them.
An amateur at best. Current project: GB 'Athena'

Re: Custom Gorilla Glass screen glass?
Adafruit has such a joystick and isn't too expensive but I'm sure their shipping is expensive. These are basically a Dpad in a joystick which is great for old school games and fighters but not exactly a true analog stick.jb32647 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 21, 2017 4:59 amLooks to be 4 microswitches from a mouse placed flat on the board, similar to how you would normally make a control pad with tact-buttons, but with an indent in the centre so you can't press them all down at once.moooarcuuuus wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2017 11:10 pmThe joystick looks nice on the instagramm pictures. Don't contact me about obtaining my board files (as you will not get them). If my Boards or PCB Kits are sold out, they will be restocked as soon as I can get them and there is demand for them. You can join the mailing list on my Website to be notified when they are available.

We will not support any cloned work so don't come to us with technical issues to resolve, go talk to the cloner for help.

Re: Custom Gorilla Glass screen glass?
Thanks for the info. I am looking for a nice analog joystick for a possible next build.
