Had too many issues the TFT screen, so I bought a back-up camera monitor. I've disassembled it and I seem to have one of the umpteen million variations of controller board. Does anyone know how to convert this particular monitor from 12v to 5v? As always, any help is appreciated. Thanks, folks. Have a great day.

HEy I have the exact same screen. If you detach the pcb there is a place to solder 5v on the underside. Its very simple and clean.

HEy I have the exact same screen. If you detach the pcb there is a place to solder 5v on the underside. Its very simple and clean.

It seems they used some ridiculously hefty double sided tape so it refuses to budge. Still, if I can figure a safe way to do so I'll give that a whack. Thank ya kindly.

Try an xacto knife to separate the pcb from the screen. then it is easy to remove the tape
