Look at the title bar, you have typed Emulationstation with a E not a e so that’s not the same path

Re: Not all of my roms are uploading onto the SD card
I really insist in the fact that linux IS case sensitive.
Your file is empty because you pointed a non existing file so basically it’s as if you were creating it.
As Fraggle said, you should first make a copy with the command he gave you.

OK. Ya Ya your getting through...Sorry.
Ignoring my rogue cap i also forgot the "S" from es_systemS.cfg!
>so i have the lists!!!!!!!!
As you can see SNES shows all the correct file types...

Megadrive also shows them all

NES shows them all too.

So my question stands. Why are my Roms not transferring over?

Re: Not all of my roms are uploading onto the SD card
Ok so far so good...
Press start while in emulation station and bring the menu. Go to other settings and disable parse gamelists only.
Reboot and let me know if you see your roms.
If the above option is enabled, then your roms won’t show until you scrap data for them.
When disabled, you display all the roms whatever...

Re: Not all of my roms are uploading onto the SD card
did you manage to list the content of the roms folders for the system that are impacted by the missing games ?
Via command line, navigate to the roms folder
Tell me if you have actually roms in those folders.
Via command line, navigate to the roms folder
Code: Select all
ls /home/pi/Retropie/roms/your_system

Re: Not all of my roms are uploading onto the SD card
In SSH after pi@retropie:~ $ i typed
ls /home/pi/Retropie/roms/****
where **** was Megadrive, megadrive, NES, nes, Nes, Snes, SNES, snes and your_system.
i changed Retropie to RetroPie and retropie
ALL returned the same message. "LS: cannot access /home/pi/Retropie/roms/****: No such file or directory
ls /home/pi/Retropie/roms/****

Re: Not all of my roms are uploading onto the SD card
Taking a windows CMD approach i managed to root my way down to the folders.
ls i assume is list? as in list contents?
ls in megadrive shows an empty folder
ls in nes shows and empty folder
ls in snes shows an empty folder
So to me it looks like they are not copying over
