Batteryindicator Problems.

Post by DonZock » Mon Dec 18, 2017 9:14 am

Hey guys,

I‘m trying to assemble the batteryindicator by using a MCP3008 and the guide provided here in the forum.
Now that I build in the MCP3008 and modifiyed retropie by using Putty and WinSCP, i got following issue:

When I run python main.py in Putty
ADC Value is detected but it doesn‘t say „changed battery Icon to ...“ also if I run retropie the battery icon isn‘t displayed.

I add a screenshot of where I think the problem is located and one from the instruction how it should be.

Thanks in advance from a big fan from Germany!

Did you use: https://github.com/joachimvenaas/gbzbatterymonitor?
Did you install pngview (https://github.com/AndrewFromMelbourne/ ... er/pngview)? pngview is used by the main.py script to display the battery indicator osd.
