GBZ Two Gamepads Detected......eh?

Following on from my Kite build Ive got a bunch of stuff that ive thrown together to make a GBZ.

I've put a zero w in but my teensy is a 2.0 and i think its playing me up...

i'm following Wermys build guide (which is great) but his Teensy has things mine doesnt have. like usb out pads

so ive cut the end off a usb lead, plugged it into the socket on the teensy the other end goes

black pp6
red pp1
green pp22
yellow pp23

which kinda works.

apart from its now saying 2 gamepads are detected!

can anyone help???

When this happened to me I held the A button on the GBZ, then it recognized the teensy and I began to setup the buttons as it was asking me to.
