Pi zero won’t start up all of a sudden
Yesterday my pi was working properly then all of a sudden when I turn it on the green like won’t show. I was hoping someone can take a look at the pictures below to provide some assistance? I also realize that on my screen I have 2 red wires and 1 black reason behind it is I ran out of wire colors

Re: Pi zero won’t start up all of a sudden
The pictures seem okay, wiring doesn't look bad. Are you running off a battery or plugged directly in? You've tried a new image I see...Can you recall if you did anything in particular, before it stopped working, or even if you dropped it etc...Hard to say why it isn't working for you.

Re: Pi zero won’t start up all of a sudden
I tried running it through my battery, powerboost, and through the pi itself. I didn’t do anything particular. I was waiting for my powerboost to come in the mail, that was the last thing I did. I just hope I didn’t fry it.rodocop wrote: ↑Wed Apr 25, 2018 9:23 amThe pictures seem okay, wiring doesn't look bad. Are you running off a battery or plugged directly in? check the power connections going into the pi, (the black and red wires on PP1 and PP6). Try removing those and plug it in with a micro USB only, see if that helps. Do you have photos of where those wires go on the powerboost, to confirm they are wired properly there too, if you have the polarity reversed you may have a problem.

This was the old powerboost I had that was faulty. I’d have to give you an updated picture when I get home later today

@rodocop or @tinkerboy any other suggestions? I just purchased a multimeter but I’ve never used one before.

Re: Pi zero won’t start up all of a sudden
Desolder all the wires you soldered. Test the pi by connecting it to a hdmi monitor. Will also help with the troubleshooting if you have a spare Pi Zero.
