Noobs question: Which brackets?

Post by snowwhite » Sat Apr 28, 2018 9:13 am

Hi,

can somebody give me an advice which brackets I can use for my GBZ build?
I would like to use
- the normal gearbest screen
- the simple ground buttons pcb (no AIO)
- two back buttons
- raspi zero orientated in the way to use the hdmi output

I've searched the forum but maybe I'm too stupid to find the right brackets....
Oh, and I'm an owner of a 3D-Printer so STL files are not the problem.

Thanks a lot

I suggest hoolyhoos screen bracket. It will fit the gearbest screen and add 2 button wells for x and y. You can download the stls from his thread, or buy from him. (Look in the buy and sell section)

As for shoulder buttons, Erik gee has a good bracket. But you have to buy them, he hasn't released the stls. (Look in buy and sell section)

I have used this bracket for 12mm tactiles buttons before. Though. Works good.

As for the pi. If you want the hdmi out the contrast port you can just orient the pi that way. I think there may be a bracket with screw posts for the hdmi out way, but I can't recall.

Game Boy L & R button bracket found on #Thingiverse https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2865730
