Hi All -
I've gotten a large amount of my soldering and wiring done on my GBZ project, but now I'm having what I hope is a small issue. When I plug in the power, the screen turns on, but nothing is coming up! I tested the pi zero W before and it seemed to work. I'm hoping that you all might have some advice regarding where I should go from here. Thanks in advance!!! Image is attached.

Double check all the soldered connections between the gpio of the pi and the DPI board. Some of them don't look great.
Also ensure you have a properly formatted SD card with an image that has the DPI drivers installed.
When connected to power do you see the LED on the pi at all?

Re: Lights are on but nobody is home!!!
Hi! So since I last posted I got a new board and tried it again. Again, I'm having the same issue. This time I skipped the pins and when by the method recommended here, https://www.tinkerboy.xyz/tinkerboy-dpi ... ader-pins/
The only differences are the updated DPI board and that I'm using a Pi Zero W. The screen turns on every which way I power it, but nothing seems to be transmitting. However, when I plug the HDMI in on the Pi, I see signs of life. Any suggestions?

Em, if you check attentively, you can see that a few of the soldered connections between the GPIO and the DPI board don't seem right. I wonder the same thing as Rodocop: do you even see the LED on the Pi at all, or not? If yes, I don't know what the issue could be, so you would probably have to contact somebody with more experience. By the way, do you guys know a place where I could get myself an LED night light, something like this one from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Night-Light-Plug ... B07NF4P12L? I'm looking for one that is affordable and of good quality. Thanks in advance!

Docbrownie, I will suggest you get in touch with an expert to help you get this done as any further changes you do might lead to more serious issue. Here https://dynamo-led-displays.ae/ is a LED screen repairer company you can contact. DeirdreWalsh can also get LED light from them.
