Hi there,
Does anyone know which modifications to do to this board to get to to work off of 5V?
I haven't seen this one anywhere so far.
Thanks!
EDIT: looking more on the board, I see that it has a 5V pin on the other side:
So should I (1) simply use this pin as power input? or (2) short the DC12 pin with this pin? (3) something else needed?
Help with BW controller board modification
Re: Help with BW controller board modification
Since nobody answered, I gave it a try and managed to have it work, so feel free to add this model to the wiki: the solution here is to use the 5V pin located under the board (you need to detach the board from the screen and make sure to remove the foam pad from it to uncover it) and connect the Pi's 5V supply directly to that pin instead of the DC12 pin. You can then connect either the AV0 or AV1 wires to the pi's TV out and the ground wire to one of the pi's ground pins.
