Audio Control Quit Working

I followed Wermy's custom GBZ guide and am using Helder's white AIO. I spent today playing around in config.txt to get the display settings right for my screen. At some point though I noticed the following message appear in certain menus:

1v10: VolumeControl::Init() - Failed to find mixer elements!

I also noticed that I get one volume through the speaker- my 5 pin thumbwheel no longer is able to adjust it.

I have done some googling, but have not found an answer yet. Any help is appreciated, also let me know if there is any specific info that would be helpful.
