You were careful but from the pictures, i see some kind of copper on the upper left corner of the hole you made... maybe the problem is there
the hole is in the middle of a ground plane (large area of copper at ground) not a trace. the capacitor is soldered to a pad that's actually just an exposed bit of the plane. i don't think there is a problem there, but you could re-solder the leg to be sure. that capacitor is quite a bit bigger than I thought would be on the board so maybe you are seeing the capacitor "charging" when you test continuity

Just confirmed, a 100uF capacitor will give a very brief beep from a meter in continuity mode. so that's expected (i had 2 different people with 3 different meters check - the wonders of slack groups :) )

So the problem most likely lies with something else, then. I've posted my problem to prs's sale thread because there's no support thread for it.

I’m trying to do the same but no idea where to start.
Is it possible to use rpi3 test pads?
Is it possible to wire it directly to the SD card reader in the pi?
Where do I find a diagram to know how to wire it?

Thanks!
