Ived searched and searched and I cant find any diagram showing the wiring of the Pi3 to a Volume pot and an adafruit style Mono amp.
Maybe Im over complicating it, but the info I do find, I feel its not exactly applicable because im using L and R sound from the Pi3 without ground. What do I do with the ground on the volume wheel? Also, I cant even figure out which pins are which on my Pot. It has 5 pins.
Does anyone have any diagrams showing the Pi3, Adafruit amp(Mine is the easy amp mono from Kitsch-Bent) and a regular 5 pin Pot?
Everything seems to do with the AIO Boards. Im just a peasant. I dont have one...
Help with wiring of Pi3 to amp and Pot
Re: Help with wiring of Pi3 to amp and Pot
I made this schematic for you. Connecting ground is mandatory, if you want volume control and decent quality music that doesn't sound like you've put the speaker in a swamp. I assume you've used the same volume wheel as other people when making this schematic.
Good luck with your build.
