Hi,

First of all, thanks to the community for the help here, so far i search some answers to my issue and found nothing...

I am not really familiar with electronics, i tried to follow some tutos online to make a Gameboy Zero and here comes the issue ...

The fact is i have some problem with my 3.5 TFT screen... The driver is unknown in the Sudomod Database, and it reacts quite strange...

I set the power booster to 5.4 v (verified with a multimeter), then at power on, the screen is flashing as the Raspberry Pi Zero is loop booting.

As shown on the screen, i already tried to set the driver to 5v doing 2 different methods...

What is strange is that both the Pi Z and Screen works perfectly when i connect a Micro USB (attached to a charger) on the power connector...

Any idea what may be the problem when i try to run on battery ? (Using a Samsung 3.8V 21000 mah )

Thanks a lot !

you've kind of answered your own question.....

your not supplying enough power to the screen and the pi zero....

your battery might not be fully charged
thats why when you hook up the usb cable everything works ok (its supplying enough power)

try charging the battery, or even try another battery....

.

The screen flickers when the voltage drops too low. As Vet says, you've got power issues. IF you are using that Samsung battery as the sole source of power, and getting flickering, but it works OK when connected to USB it means that battery isn't going to work.

It may also be that that batter simply cannot handle the power demands of the Pi + Screen. Replacing it with an identical model might not solve the issue.

Hello,
Let's go for the production of my GameBoy Zero. On this post I found my driver edit but the photos are no longer available. I sent an email to CerbereOrion I wait for the answer. I post a photo of my driver if you have the solution ...
Thank you
