I was watching wermy's old guide for the GBZ and I found that when we was adding the USB ports he also soldered a usb input to raspberry pi
But I can't find that same input on Helder's V2.2 Board

I'm making a game boy zero and, I've been testing it and everytime I boot up retro pie It dosen't recognise my button PCB
(I used the AIO made by helder)

I've tried all the things that Helder mentioned and I've been looking around and nothing really works

Make sure the data wires are wired properly, and the board is getting power.
Do you have any pics? The d+ and d- on the pi are very close to each other and very easy to bridge if not careful.

Helders board should have a d+ and d- on the top. That is what is wired to the pi. See my image. The yellow and green wires go to the pi. It's a bit covered up, but those run to the data test pads on the pi.

Okay. Looks okay....
Make sure pp23 is not bridged with the little hole beside it (to the right)
Do you have multimeter to ensure the board gets power when the pi is on (5V) Also. Where is your powerboost. Maybe try powering the all in one from the powerboost (or equavalent) not the pi's power test pads.
**edit, I'm blind I see the powerboost now**

You can test if the atmega32u4 is working by connnecting it to USB on a PC. It should be recognized.
