PMW audio help

Post by FlashyFrank » Mon Feb 19, 2018 11:49 pm

I am almost finished with my first build but I am unable to get the audio to come out. I edited my config.txt file by adding,
"dtoverlay=pwm,pin=18,func=2"
and I tried my best to follow this diagram

But when I power it all up I hear that the speaker is on and making some sort of sound but no audio from the game. When I turn the volume wheel the white noise sound gets louder so it seems like its wired correctly. Im not sure where to turn. Anyone have a good video or tutorial?

Try turning back and forth the pot on the audio amp. Try just the speaker for now without the headphone jack.

If you're using an older zero - have you tried the newer audio driver?
https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic ... 414#p37463

Or, If you can ssh in - or you have tiny terminal on the pi, try playing an mp3 direct to confirm it's not your es settings

Code: Select all

wget https://www.soundhelix.com/examples/mp3/SoundHelix-Song-1.mp3
omxplayer -o local SoundHelix-Song-1.mp3
