Need help figuring out new 5v screen mod

I've used the BW screens often but this is the first I've seen this one and it's not listed in the wiki. Does anyone know how to mod this OR can you explain how I could try and figure it out?

Probe aroun the 1117H pins for 5v (be sure to power the board with 12v). Check the I pin chips as well, one is likely an eeprom chip but the other could be out putting 5v.

Late to the party. But I just got the same screen and modded successfully. As per helders request I measured the voltage on the 1117H chip pins while powering with 12v.
Found one leg to be 5v, wired there and bingo, works fine.
