Kite Circuit Sword build help.

Post by FlashyFrank » Mon Nov 19, 2018 1:54 am

I am working on my first Circuit Sword and I think I might be stuck. I have it all put together and I downloaded the latest release from https://github.com/kiteretro/Circuit-Sword/releases and uploaded that to a new micro sd card. Then when I power the unit up all these lights turn on and the screen powers up but I do not see any text or loading or anything. Just a blank screen. Am I missing something? Do I need to plug into an external monitor or something?

I think the CM3 was not fully inserted. I popped it out and when I popped it back in it seemed to snap in a little more and on the next boot there was no problem. Getting all my roms uploaded now!

Hi i have the same Problem.

Put all Parts togehter and installed the latest Image on the sd card.
When i switch it on the Power LEDs on the board are correct. The screen powers up but didnt show anything.
I tested the screen with my Lite Board it is ok.

Insert the pi module again did not help.
Any tips?

The picture has the arrow, you have to remove the CM3 and count the pins (it's a bit hard to do).

When you put SD into PC, and open up the disk that appears, is there a file "config-cs.txt" ?

SD-Card is ok, config file and size are correct.

Found Pin F under the CM3 - also connected.

It's likely the issue (and probing the pins puts enough pressure on them to make contact) or something else preventing boot, could you send me an email and I'll sort it all out for you :)
