I need help with 5v Modification

I recently picked up a BW screen and, after checking the screen variant page on the wiki, realized the board I have is unlike any of the variants posted.
I've highlighted the chip that appears to be the buck regulator, but all I know is the model number: RZC2013S
Can anyone help me out?

Connect 5v to pin 3 on the chip

I have the same board. Same problem here. I have no idea which points to solder. Definitely a newbie.

Connect 5v to pin 3 on the chip
Is that it? No removing of inductors or the chip itself, just put 5v onto pin 3?

I've never removed the chip on mine (modded 3 of these now, all different), and they work okay. -- It's always that 8-pin chip on the same pin, and I never remove the chip (it's always in a different spot though). -- I do see in the guides that it says to remove it sometimes, but I think that's optional, and the guides are just written by different modders, so... probably whatever is easiest for you?
Personally, I would advise against unnecessary modifications (e.g. removing chips that don't need to be removed).

supershadow64ds,
If you figure out which pin to solder to, would you post a pic?

Is this correct (see pic)? Thanks for your help!

Another thing you could do to make sure its the correct point is to power the screen with 12v, then take your multimeter and measure the voltage on that pin, if its 5v then you should be able to just apply 5v directly to that pin. You just have to be careful to not bridge multiple pins when measuring the voltage. To avoid bridging the pins you can also solder a wire to the pin then measure the voltage on the wire instead of the pin.

Verified. On this chip (RZC2013S), pin #3 is 5V. I found the schematic below, and also measured 5V on pin #3 with multimeter while powering the screen with 12V. Will post after I do the mod. Still waiting for a few parts to arrive before I jump in. Thanks all for your help as this variant is not on the wiki to date!
