Just added the minty combo script and as soon as I did I noticed the lag in SNES start back up. I guess I will have to go with out the combo script. :(

Ill try it again with just the battery monitor and see if that works fine.

And double check the retroarch.cfg since there is hotkey for slow motion. Might be obvious, but make sure it is off, or not assigned to a button you use.
I will double check this but it only slows down in SNES and not any other emulators so I don't think it would be this.

I normally assign the function button to my start or select.

The only reason I like the combo script is for easy shut down, is there a way for me to get this function with out adding the entire script? If I have to go with out the combo script it isn't the end of the world but I would like to get it working.
You could just use the mintybatterymonitor script.

Its gives you the battery monitor. But no hotkeys. With the exception of one hotkey for shutdown and one for toggling the battery monitor. I forget the default gpios. But you can change them to whatever. And set the hold time.

For example I usually do the shutdown as L or R and set it's hold time for 3 to 5 seconds. Hold the button and it shuts down safely.

You can do the same for the battery monitor icon as well. Choose a button and hold time.

Also. The hotkeys are modified in this file:

MintyShutdown.py

https://github.com/sixteenbit/Mintybatt ... hutdown.py

(I use sixteenbits fork since I like the battery icon he used, it's white, versus the original green)

Got it all up and running with no slow down on SNES! Thank you once again rodocop for coming in to save another build!
