KeDei HDMI screen feels sluggish

From my experience, you can't rely on the KeDei displays any more. They have changed the panel a few times but kept the same date on the PCB.

The latest KeDei display I got had a screen which wouldn't fit in the shell because it is about 1 mm too wide. And another downside: the response time is very bad, leading to smearing (or "lagging") when you have fast moving images.

The older KeDei displays I had were much better. But all KeDei screens I had so far did not have Vsync working. In some games you can see tearing effects.
